 Speaker

Natasha M. McCoy, BS, MPH

Owner and Principal Consultant at NM2C, LLC

In 2021, nonprofits in the United States received approximately $471.44 billion in charitable giving (Giving USA, 2021). Who provided this funding to nonprofits? Is Google the only tool available to help nonprofits find existing and new funding opportunities? Grant research is the process of finding grant opportunities, learning funder priorities, and managing grant proposals. Free and paid resources can be used to create a grant research process for your nonprofit. Attendees will receive information on national trends in charitable giving, review steps for creating a grant research process, and explore tools for managing grant submissions. Participants will also receive a tour of the Institute for Nonprofit Innovation and Excellence’s Revenue Research Center.

 Learning Outcome

By the end of this training, learners will better understand national charitable giving trends and how to create a grant research process. Learners will also receive information on available tools and resources.
